Bockfest Continental Sunday

In cooperation with the Moerlein Lager House, the German-American Citizens League (GACL) is presenting Continental Sunday at the Moerlein Lager House! All German societies are invited to the Welcome Ceremony with the traditional Keg Tapping on Sunday, March 3 at 1:30PM.

Continental Sunday is the German-American way of celebrating Sunday afternoons. Historically in Cincinnati this was a time for an afternoon with family and friends for festivities, fun, frolic, and Gemütlichkeit. Come celebrate Bockfest’s version of Continental Sunday at the Moerlein Lager House. Wear your Tracht and get $1.00 off price of beer.

Event schedule: * 1:30pm Welcome Ceremony, Keg Tapping and brief Flag Parade with introduction of all German societies.

* Noon - 4pm German Historic Speaker Series * 1:30pm – 6pm Vereins Musikanten Band * 3pm and 4:30pm Enzian Dancers
