Every Monday since 2011, Cincideutsch gathers for a weekly Stammtisch (regulars’ table).
Cincideutsch’s weekly gathering gives people a place to meet other German speakers and learn about German culture. We welcome all levels of German fluency from beginner to advanced. Some of our members include permanent residents of Cincinnati and those visiting the city for work or student exchange programs. When I moved to Cincinnati from Switzerland in 2011, I Became one of the first members to join Cincideutsch. Not only did I find friends for life with existing Cincideutsch members, I found a family of German speakers far away from home. Cincideutsch has a good mix of native speakers and locals who speak varying levels of German, from early beginners to advanced. Over the years, I have seen hundreds of students, retirees, professionals , or new hobby seekers improve their German or just meet over a beer during our weekly Stammtisch at Kantine Biergarten.
